DEPARTMENT OF BLACK STUDIES

The African American Studies department would like to extend a warm welcome to Assistant Professor kihana miraya ross, who will be joining our faculty this fall. Dr. ross is a Ford Foundation postdoctoral fellow in the Institute for Urban Policy Research and Analysis at the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her Ph.D. in the Social and Cultural Studies in Education program at the University of California, Berkeley in 2016.
